Responsibilities

The Incumbent would be responsible for;  

  • Rent, buy, or sell property for clients.
  • Perform duties, such as study property listings, interview prospective clients, accompany clients to property site
  • Discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts.
  • Includes agents who represent buyer 
  • Obtain agreements from property owners to place properties for sale with real estate firms.
  • Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers over property prices and settlement details and during the closing of sales.
  • Generate lists of properties for sale, their locations, descriptions, and available financing options, using computers.
  • Trade, for a fee, real estate owned by others.
  • Manage or operate real estate offices, handling associated business details.
  • Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.
  • Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other.
  • Compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market price.
  • Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters.
  • Promote sales of properties through advertisements, open houses, and participation in multiple listing services.

Minimum: HND

General Requirements

  • HND, BSC etc in Estate or survey mgt
  • Experience - 4-6 years within industry and finance function; additional
  • Commercial experience is a plus, but not necessary.
