Responsibilities
Piper Interiors Limited is a furniture company located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. We are looking for reliable, capable and competent Kitchen and Wardrobe Installers to work for us full time.
Job Summary:
- To measure and cut the bases, pedestals, housing, shelves, doors, drawers and tops. The saw operator measures the wall spaces between appliances or fixtures, then measures and cuts all wood for cabinet parts.
- Assemble the parts and affix them to the walls. The assembler is actually the one to install cabinets. The installer hangs shelves, builds pedestals and shells, lays tops and affixes door hinges, drawer slides and handles.
- Clean up the sawdust, discarded wood and product packaging. Vacuum and dust the work area before leaving each day. The customer or the boss may decide to look in on the job's progress at any time.
Primary Responsibilities:
To carry out all works required to fit new kitchens and wardrobes including:
- Measuring out work areas and produce layout and design plans
- Ordering and collecting the kitchen &wardrobe cut MFC Panels from the suppliers
- Removing and disposing of old units
- Marking the location of hidden pipes and cables
- Filling in small cracks and levelling walls and floors
- Relocating sockets and plumbing points where necessary
- Measuring and cutting worktops, recesses and joints
- Fitting units and appliances
- Clearing away debris
- Carry out full decoration of the kitchen
- To meet tight completion deadlines whilst producing a high standard of work
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other general office duties as may reasonably be required, and requested by his/her Line Manager

General Requirements
- The ideal candidates must have at least 3 years experience of all aspects of kitchen and wardrobe fitting.
