Job brief

We are a leading Nigerian-based renewable energy company that provides a range of technical and advisory services in the Nigerian energy sector. Given emerging opportunities with on- and off-grid PV technology in the Nigerian markets, we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketer to join our company. The Digital Marketer  you will act as our Brand’s voice to impress our customers, attract new clients and ensure we maintain a top-of-mind audience presence consistent with our online marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • To create and lead the development of digital marketing strategy across all digital channels including Search engine optimization (SEO), affiliates and display
  • Drive monthly lead generation targets through the management of digital marketing spend
  • Ensure daily digital spends are on-pace to budget, managing cost and providing detailed campaign reporting on a weekly basis
  • Come up with new campaign targeting ideas
  • Implementing channel campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Application Programming Interface (API) integrations with digital vendors
  • Coordinate the design of promotional material and distribute in online
  • Very strong Excel and analytical skill
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Manage and maintain the organisation’s website(s): track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize digital user experience
  • Extensive experience managing both Costs Per Mille (CPM) and Cost Per Click (CPC) acquisition, retargeting display and paid social campaigns
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (Return On Investment and Key Performance Indicators)
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO, database marketing, email marketing, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Integrate all campaigns with our internal tracking systems and make tracking and attribution improvement
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook etc. to increase company brand awareness, connection and engagement

General Requirements

Required Qualification:

  • Degree or Diploma in any social sciences/ Art/ Humanities
  • Professional training and certifications is an added advantage

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 2-3 years Proven working experience as marketing communication/brand management experience or Digital Media specialist
  • Adequate knowledge and familiarity of web design, web development, CRO and SEO 
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Net Insight, Web Trends etc.)   
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, Word Press, Email Campaign systems, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram  
  • Project management skills                                                 
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Able to work on cross-functional teams in both member and leadership roles
  • Analytical skills, not only for presenting data but to also summarize findings and propose recommendations for future improvements.
