Primus Nigeria Limited is a dynamic and development oriented company that specializes in the provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Management, Asset Integrity Management, Manpower Support and Environmental Services.
The company urgently requires the services of qualified candidates to fill the position of Barge Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- General administration and overall supervision of the barge with responsibility of all personnel and equipment on board the barge and other support vessels assigned to the vessel spread.
- Overall responsible person in charge of PLB and other support vessels assigned to PLB spread.
- Control marine movements in relation to site, and in particular, ensure all vessels are moored in accordance with pre-approved procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring the stability of the PLB is within the limits stated in its valid load line certificate and that all other vessels are operated within their own capabilities

General Requirements
- 25 years’ experience in offshore construction industry
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as Barge Superintendent.
