A top business process outsourcing company urgently requires the services of an experienced and qualified candidate to fill the position of Finance Manager.
Responsibility
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Financial Manager (FM) will be a strategic, financial leader and trusted partner to the CEO and executive management team on all matters relating to the financial activities of the organization. The FM will play a critical role in helping shape the future of the company and will be a visible strategic leader, driving the company’s financial success through organic growth, as well as segment and market expansions. S/he will also provide leadership beyond the boundaries of a traditional financial officer, influencing the business and operations, and balancing strategic initiatives with detail-oriented and efficient processes. Leading and motivating the financial intelligence of this organization, the FM will oversee the Accounting Officer(s).
Core Functions:
- Partner with the Chief Executive Officer, providing insight and counsel relative to all areas of annual operating planning and financial leadership
- Develop, implement and communicate a global finance strategy to drive the delivery of organization s business strategy and performance targets
- Work with line of business leaders in establishing clear and credible reporting and forecasting metrics. Oversee the strategic as well as day-to-day-financial activities for the organization. Provide strategic management and guidance in all areas of finance and accounting, ensuring appropriate, comprehensive, and accurate financial controls, policies, processes, and systems
- Keep abreast of all major accounting, regulatory and reporting changes that affect the industry and ensure that finances and risks are effectively managed
- Advise the CEO on how to manage the organization capital structure to (1) ensure the continued availability of capital to meet agreed business priorities and requirements, satisfy all relevant regulatory requirements, and requirements of clients and rating agencies; (2) provide a framework for efficient allocation of capital to businesses; and (3) optimize capital structure for returns to shareholders
- Review and enhance financial systems/technologies. Manage the company’s risk management processes
- Ensure financial messages are clearly communicated and presented in line with organization strategy and desired positioning
- Report and respond on all finance related topics including but not limited to accounting and financial reporting
- Represent the company and lead all business relations with external auditors, analysts, rating agencies, and tax bodies etc
- Evaluate current talent portfolio and recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a “best in class” finance team.
- Provide advice and manage merger transactions if need be
- Occasional travel for Business Meetings

General Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (minimum of Second Class) in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or related courses
- Previous work experience in a similar role; superior mathematical skills
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Experience in financial reporting for non-profit organizations
- Proficient user of Excel and QuickBooks, etc
