Responsibilities
Newrest ASL Nigeria PLC specializes in provision of catering and hospitality services to international airlines and airports in Nigeria. The company requires the services of a Laundry Assistant for immediate hire.
Reporting Line: Laundry Supervisor
Department: Operations
Role Purpose Statement
Maintain adequate supply of hygienic clothing and other materials like napkin, towels etc.
Key Interfaces Internal: Production, Operations, Sales
Key Interfaces External: As required by exigencies
Main Accountabilities
- Execute tasks in accordance with job schedules and rosters for effective service delivery
- Inspect the laundry equipment’s before use and in accordance with SOPs
- Partake in facilitated on-the-job-trainings for improved compliance with standards
- Attend daily briefings on strategies for optimal performance and service delivery
- Comply with loading capacity in washing machines
- Record accurate details of laundry, items for use and reconcile quantities received with delivered
- Iron and seal all laundered materials
- Any other task as assigned by the Laundry Supervisor

- Compliance with specific uses of reagents and machine programme
