Responsibilities
Newrest ASL Nigeria PLC specializes in provision of catering and hospitality services to international airlines and airports in Nigeria. The company requires the services of a Plating/ Tray Set Assistant for immediate hire.
Reporting Line: Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Role Purpose Statement
Tray set preparations and their loading into trolleys.
Key Interfaces Internal: Production
Key Interfaces External: External Auditors
Main Accountabilities (including specific challenges)
- Portioning foods according to customer specifications, including general tray set-up duties
- Ensure cleanliness of utensils, equipment and work area as you go
- Comply at all times with HACCP procedures, good hygiene and production practices.
- Record the handling time and temperatures of all meals plated/tray set at the beginning and end of the process
- Cover, label and store decanted products
- Cling film, colour code and properly store all bulk items

General Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 relevant experience in an airline catering or hospitality industry
- Minimum of O Level or equivalent qualification
- Basic computer skills
- Fluent English, written and spoken
