A foremost Cinema in Africa is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the Position of Procurement Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Source for manufacturers/Suppliers for a particular product.
- Ensures order fulfillment with vendors and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules.
- Compiles requested materials and records to draw up purchase orders for the procurement of materials and services.
- Deals generally with activities relating to the ordering of goods and supplies for the cinemas.
- Determines if inventory quantities are sufficient for the needs of the cinemas and orders more supplies as needed.
- Cross check the record of the store unit before processing orders.
- Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files, report price lists, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, locate suppliers, approve bills for payment, monitor contractor performance, calculate the cost of orders, charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts, and monitor in-house inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping records.
- Must occasionally carry out market survey of products to the best interest of the organization without any conflicting interest
- Must be effective in proper management of inventory lead time

General Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree in Business Admin, Arts or Social science from any recognized university. Msc. is an added advantage.
- Experience: 6-8 years managerial experience in a retail company.
