A foremost cinema company in Africa is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the Position of Store Officer.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations of the store.
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of store inventory.
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials/items from the purchasing department.
- Ensures delivery of requested items to the user/requesting department
- Ensure inventory are periodically counted and reconcile with records; performs annual inventory count and reconciliation.
- Conduct physical inventory checks for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
- Ensure goods in the store do not expire.
- Use FIFO in stock issuing
- Daily observation of stock conditions.
- Monitor and ensure constant availability of all items by effectively liaising with the purchasing department.
- Ensure the re-order level of each items is maintained by liaising with the purchasing department. Always cross check the items issued to the transit store to know if any goods lost in transit
- Ensure daily update of stock cards.
- Resolves discrepancies in requisition, purchase orders and delivery reports by contacting the vendors or requesters.
- Inspect items as to quality and quantity against freight document
- Ensuring the appropriate dispatch of goods to the appropriate destinations.
- Reporting loss, damage and any such discrepancies to the supervising authorities.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work place and complying with all safety norms while carrying out work function

General Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree in Business Admin, Arts or Social science from any recognized university.
- Experience: 3-5 years managerial experience in a retail company
