Responsibilities
Our Client, a Multinational air and hydraulic controls and equipment supplier seeks experienced Tubing Technician for immediate hire.
The Tubing Technician is responsible for running all tubing and electrical installations on equipment.
Performs assembly and tubing layout of pressure test system.
Controls plumbing, hardware shipping supplies and other related components.
Repairs of pumps, valves and cylinders as it relates to our business.
Conducts field installation and service work as needed.
Performs tubing, wiring and pressure testing.
Completes BOM revisions including builds, nameplates, manuals and system testing.
Cone and threads tubing on high pressure systems.
Services customers on site to perform maintenance and repair equipment.
Interacts with customers to determine service issues.
Provides technical support as necessary.
Works closely with Repair Coordinator to ensure efficient and accurate quoting and billing of repair & service work.
Keeps detailed records of service efforts.
Minimum: B.Sc/B.A Experience: 3-5 year(s) |

General Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Tubing Technician training required; post secondary degree in mechanics or industrial technology preferred
- 5+ years experience in I & E / Tubing work
- Ability to bend and cone & thread tubing
- Ability to use fittings on tubing
- Clear driving record
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles
- Knowledge of panels and test systems
- Haskel product experience a plus
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic math and science skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving ability
- Planning and managing projects
- Customer service
- Meeting deadlines and schedule restraints
- Dealing with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Developing effective working relationships with peers so as to work as a team
- Physical demands are moderate, to extreme at times, and typically require the following: 50% sitting, 25% walking and 25% standing.
- Frequent lifting of supplies and material, carrying, pushing and/or pulling may be required.
- Minimal travel required.
