Responsibilities
Job Objectives:- To manage shift operations maintaining the highest possible standards of customer service, product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
- To assist in the overall management of the restaurant to ensure regulation of costs and the maximization of sales and profitability.
- To act as second-in-command and in partnership with the Restaurant Manager, to provide direction to both staff and management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out a fully operational role as represented in the role of an Shift Manager
- Implement OSC and/or Audit action plans
- Check that daily paperwork is being completed correctly by staff
- Prepare daily & weekly paperwork
- Ensure cash security systems in place and are being adhered to and conduct staff searches as deemed necessary
- Ensure compliance to portion sizes and waste targets
- Be a role model for great Customer Service “lead by example”
- Complete monthly trading area surveys
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Carry out Absence and Disciplinary management
- Enforce adherence to defined uniform standards on each shift
- Conduct weekly staff meetings
- Ensure suggestive selling consistently n each shift by cashiers
- Investigate incidents and implement action plans

General Requirements
1) Minimum of university or its equivalent (degree in Food Science, Micro – Biology, Food Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field)
2) Minimum 2 years work experience as an Assistant Manager in QSR/related companies
