Responsibilities

Job description 

Provide both clerical and administrative support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually. You'll be involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks. In some cases, you may oversee and supervise the work of junior staff.

Functions/Responsibilities

  • Use a word processing package such as Microsoft Word.
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries, using an email system (e.g. Microsoft Outlook).
  • Photocopy and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
  • Organize and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
  • Create and maintain filing and other office systems.
  • Keep diaries and arrange appointments.
