All students, regardless of academic specialization, receive high-level training in information technology, entrepreneurship and in arts and sciences.
Responsibilities
- Counsel and advise farmers on-farm cultivation, fertilization, and harvesting.
- Conduct research and implement new technology and practices.
- Periodically analyze agricultural data and prepare reports.
- Support in liaising with relevant government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Promote understanding and cooperation between government regulatory agencies and farmers.
- Observe and inspect project demo farms, farmer’s crops and soils.
- Make presentations to farmers on-farm management best practices.
- Respond to requests from farmers and stakeholders.
- Draft periodic reports on completion of project activities and inputs.
- Day-to-day liaising on updates on progress and problems as they arise.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Project Director.

General Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Agricultural Economics, Agronomy or any other related field.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in agriculture focused projects.
- Excellent knowledge of agriculture value chain.
- Good level of computer literacy (primarily in Microsoft Office packages).
- Fluent in Local languages and English.
