Responsibilities

  • Provide training and advisory support to participating agribusiness owners.
  • Conduct training of trainers workshops on topics such as business plan development, situational and opportunity analysis, operational strategy, and financial planning for growth.
  • Support training material revision; analyze training needs and tailor and improve curricula as needed.
  • Provide individual business mentoring support to agribusinesses and assist entrepreneurs in implementing their business growth plans.
  • Support agribusinesses on business management topics, including accounting, financial management and planning, marketing, operations, etc.
  • Engage with agtech firms in facilitating agribusiness’ adoption of new technology products as needed.
  • Track data from program participants and prepare qualitative and quantitative reports.
  • Record-keeping of participants’ activities, data collection of information required for monthly report and analysis.
  • Strict adherence to timeframe of assignments in project life-scope.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned.

Minimum: B.Sc/B.A

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, and other relevant fields; A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • 2-3 years in capacities relating to either agribusiness, marketing, SME development with entrepreneurial experiences in agribusiness.
  • Ability to develop well written, cohesive analyses and reports.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and strategy skills.
  • Confident with project management and reporting.
  • Strong skills in business software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
