Responsibilities
- The CFO is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.
Key Deliverables
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles.
- Knowledge of statutory provisions.
- Business Acumen
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software.
- Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
- Oversee and coordinate finance, investment, supply chain and treasury functions.
- Responsible for Project budget and product pricing.
- Oversee all financial and project accounting; ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with project budgets throughout the project period; collate financial reporting materials for government, corporate.
- Evaluate opportunities and formulate business and financial strategies and plans for expansions.
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
- Develop financial and tax strategies to ensure tax efficiency.
- Manage capital raising and fund sourcing needs and activities of the company.
- Prepare and present Monthly Profitability Reports, quarterly and yearly financial statements to relevant stakeholders.

General Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field, MBA (Added advantage).
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency with using QuickBooks/Sage pastel Accounting Software.
- 7-10 years of demonstrated work experience in variety of accounting roles.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written), establish trust quickly, and create win-win situations.
